Heavy traffic on the A4 motorway is the result of Poles returning to Poland for the holidays. In addition, several collisions occurred on the overloaded A4 on Saturday morning, including near Kraśnik and Złotoryja.
You can also encounter a traffic jam on national road No. 94 near Wilczy Las. Roadworks connected with the renovation of a railway viaduct are under way there. Toward the viaduct, from the Tomaszów Bolesławiecki side, the traffic jam stretches for several kilometres.

National road No. 94 is also congested at the entrance to Bolesławiec from the Zgorzelec side. In the morning, the line of cars heading toward Bolesławiec began near the petrol station in Brzeźnik. There were also major traffic jams on Kościuszki Street, on the approach to Bolesławiec from the A4 exit.
In Bolesławiec itself, traffic is traditionally heavier around supermarkets and market areas because of Saturday shopping. Chrobrego Street is congested along its entire length. The bypass is also experiencing traffic jams, around the viaduct, Wróblewskiego Street and Cieszkowskiego Street.
