We were informed about the incident by a Reader. It happened on Thursday, December 19, at around 9:00 a.m., on the road between Iwiny and Warta Bolesławiecka, near the turn-off to Lubków.
The driver of a Mercedes passenger car, a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to yield the right of way to a Mazda driven by a 70-year-old man from Bolesławiec. A collision occurred. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
The 19-year-old was fined. Police are appealing for caution and prudence on the road.
