There was a suspicion that the missing woman might attempt to take her own life. The search operation was described on the Facebook profile of OSP Raciborowice by the volunteer firefighters:

On Saturday, December 14, at 9:15 p.m., we went to search for a 23-year-old resident of Raciborowice Dolne.

At midnight, the OSP Wrocław Specialist Rescue Unit joined the operation, equipped with rescue dogs and specialist equipment. A few minutes after 4:00 a.m., volunteers from Wrocław, equipped with an all-terrain vehicle and GPS transmitters, located the woman despite the difficult weather and terrain conditions. The casualty was experiencing mild hypothermia, had vital signs within normal parameters and limited verbal contact.

In addition to the services, many village residents became involved in the search. Access to the scene and an efficient evacuation were significantly hindered by the night and the terrain. The entire team involved in the search is grateful to our colleague Łukasz, who provided his pick-up vehicle and significantly improved access and the evacuation of the casualty to the location where she was handed over to the emergency medical services team and the air ambulance service on the football pitch. The operation ended at approximately 5:20 a.m.
