The incident took place on Tuesday, December 10, in the evening, in the parking lot at Intermarché in Bolesławiec. The driver of a Citroen, a 50-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, hit a properly parked Audi.
Witnesses to the incident apprehended the driver and prevented him from driving any farther. As it turned out, they were absolutely right to do so. The man was completely drunk; he had 3 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The 50-year-old was detained. He could now face up to two years in prison.
