The meeting has been prepared and will be led by experts from the Ekorozwoju Foundation and Dolnośląski Alarm Smogowy. Participants will gain a substantial amount of reliable knowledge about smog, as well as practical advice on ways to obtain funding for environmentally friendly heating sources. The organisers will provide light refreshments during the break.

The effects and causes of air pollution and the climate crisis. Presentation and discussion with residents.

  • The main types of pollution and harmful substances, and their impact on health.
  • Air pollution in Poland, Lower Silesia and the municipality: where can reliable information be found?
  • Smog and the climate crisis: how do they affect each other, and what are the forecasts for the future?
  • How to get rid of smog and counteract climate change while saving money on electricity and heating bills
  • Environmentally friendly heating sources: costs, benefits and available funding (the Clean Air programme, My Electricity, the thermal-modernisation tax relief)

Part II

How to ensure a good atmosphere in your home: presentation of the EKODOM energy-efficiency calculator. Discussion with residents.

Part III

A consultation and advisory session on sources of funding and the most common mistakes and problems in obtaining money.
