The incident occurred on the night from Thursday to Friday in an apartment on Prusa Street in Bolesławiec. During an argument, the 26-year-old probably stabbed his mother with a knife. He was drunk, with 3 parts per thousand of alcohol in his blood. The woman was taken to hospital. She died during the night.
A motion was filed to place the man in temporary custody. Preliminary findings indicate that the woman was also under the influence of alcohol during the argument.
