The tragedy occurred on November 16. At around 10:30 p.m., police officers found the body of a 43-year-old woman on a balcony at one of the hotels in Karpacz. Procedural and operational activities established that she had been murdered. This was also confirmed by the autopsy.
It was established that the person suspected of the act was the 43-year-old woman's acquaintance, who drove away from the scene immediately after the crime.
Police officers detained the man on Sunday, November 17, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. He was then taken into police custody.
On Tuesday, November 19, at the prosecutor's office's request, he was temporarily detained for three months. The 43-year-old could now face life imprisonment.
