On the night from Thursday to Friday, the police received a report that a man was jumping on a car’s bodywork in one of the housing estates in Bolesławiec. The person who reported it was a police officer who was off duty that day. When the patrol arrived at the scene, the vandal was no longer there. Only dents in the car’s bodywork remained. Fortunately, the police officer who reported the entire incident described the man’s appearance in detail. It also turned out that the man had been jumping on the car in the company of another man. The police arrested the vandal not far from the scene. The 25-year-old, a resident of Bolesławiec Municipality, was drunk. He had almost 2 per mille of alcohol in his system. The man will face court for damaging the car. He faces up to five years in prison.
