Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters detained a man suspected of causing an accident on Wednesday, November 6, on the road between Bolesławiec and Rakowice and fleeing the scene. The 27-year-old driver, who had been hiding from the police, was detained.
Officers found methamphetamine in the suspect’s apartment. What is more, the man was charged in connection with his previous arrest. (In October, the man was caught driving a car under the influence of drugs.)
The detainee, who had already been convicted of property-related crimes, now faces up to three years in prison.
