Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn arrested a 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec suspected of stealing a motorcycle worth PLN 6,000. The arrest took place on November 11, after police received a report that people had been seen running with a motorcycle.
A moment later, a police officer from Kruszyn noticed a man well known to him for criminal activity and connected the earlier report with this 31-year-old from Bolesławiec.
The suspect was arrested. The stolen motorcycle was found in a nearby small wooded area. The vehicle had been covered with branches and leaves.
Interestingly, when the officers reached the motorcycle’s owner, he had not yet realized that he had been robbed.
The 31-year-old suspect faces up to five years in prison. The recovered motorcycle was returned to its owner.
