Officers from the Criminal Division of the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters, as a result of operational work, identified the perpetrator of numerous thefts involving break-ins to vehicles, which had recently occurred in the city.
The suspect turned out to be a 25-year-old resident of Legnica. The man stole everything that had been left in the vehicles: money, alcohol, accessories and electronic equipment, footwear, sportswear, watches, documents, power tools, and even... glasses. The total losses suffered by the victims amounted to nearly PLN 12,000.
What is more, it emerged that the Legnica resident had already been convicted of this type of crime. He now faces up to 15 years in prison.
