After the competition began, the regiment commander, Col. Grzegorz Potrzuski, wished all participants healthy and sportsmanlike competition. Then the range officer, 2nd Lt. Artur Gruba, having discussed the safety rules, began conducting the training.
The competition consisted of two parts: shooting with a military pistol and a Beryl assault rifle. Soldiers of the 23rd Artillery Regiment and their colleagues from the US Army took part.
Competition results in the team category:
- 2nd Rocket Artillery Battery, 3rd Artillery Regiment
- 1st Self-Propelled Artillery Squadron
- 3rd Artillery Regiment Logistics Company.
Summarizing the competition, Col. Grzegorz Potrzuski thanked the Polish and American soldiers for their commitment and the results achieved. Finally, together with the head of the Physical Training and Sports Section, Maj. Jakub Wołyński, he honored the commanders of the winning subunits with cups.
