23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment:

All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day encourage us to remember the soldiers who are no longer in Our ranks. They are also an opportunity to show respect to all those who, while carrying out their military duties, gave their lives in the name of the highest values: freedom and independence.

As part of the “Soldiers’ Remembrance” campaign, artillerymen’s delegations lit candles at monuments commemorating heroes who fell for their Homeland, at the graves of the regiment’s deceased soldiers, and at memorial plaques dedicated to the fallen and deceased soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade and its historical predecessors: the 5th Artillery Brigade, the 11th Anti-Aircraft Regiment, the 18th Artillery Brigade, the 18th Rocket Regiment and the 62nd Company.

The soldiers add:

“Those who live in the memory of others have not died, but have only gone away.” On this day, we particularly remember our deceased comrades who have gone to “eternal watch”. Glory to their memory!
