Bolesławiec criminal investigators, as a result of operational activities, identified and arrested those responsible for a break-in at a garden shed, as well as the theft of a catalytic converter and fuel. Both crimes took place in the second half of October in Bolesławiec.

The men arrested are 28 and 31 years old; both live in the same locality in Bolesławiec Municipality.

The suspects are well known to the police, as they have committed other property offences.

The older of the thieves was the first to be arrested. During a search of the 31-year-old’s residential and outbuildings, police secured various items originating from the break-in at the shed, including axes, a bicycle, votive candles and a radio.

Moreover, the man will face charges for possessing methamphetamine.

In the course of further proceedings, the younger suspect was also arrested. Officers proved that both residents of Bolesławiec Municipality acted together. The pair now faces up to 10 years in prison.
