The resolution concerns the commitment of funds from the city budget in the years 2020–2029. The commitment planned for the following year is up to PLN 6,996,844. In subsequent years, commitments of up to the following amounts have been planned:

- 2023 – PLN 7,418,375.98
- 2024 – PLN 7,540,078.85
- 2025 – PLN 7,665,520.71
- 2026 – PLN 7,794,818.00

- 2029 – PLN 8,202,517.70.
The resolution makes it possible to conclude a 10-year agreement with Miejski Zakład Komunikacji Sp. z o.o. in Bolesławiec. The agreement will extend the currently applicable rules for providing transport services, together with a system for settling the quality of services provided, as well as investment tasks specified for each period, such as the purchase of vehicles.
The agreement between Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec and the company will include, among other things, rules for providing bus transport services, together with a system for settling the quality of services provided.
The amount of remuneration (compensation) does not exceed the amount necessary to cover the costs incurred during the term of the agreement for the provision of public services, taking minimum profit into account. The company does not generate revenue from ticket sales because municipal public transport is free of charge.
It is worth recalling that Miejski Zakład Komunikacji Sp. z o.o. in Bolesławiec is a company wholly owned by Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec. The company owns its bus fleet. For the most part, this property was provided to the company by Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec in the form of a contribution to its share capital; part of it was financed from the company’s own funds.
In addition, the company leases 13 buses from the Municipality. As part of its investment program, the company plans to introduce some electric vehicles into service.
