The incident occurred on Sunday, October 27, in the morning, on a straight section of road between Zgorzelec and Jędrzychowice. According to the police findings, the driver of the Kia was probably driving too fast, left the roadway and hit a tree.

Unfortunately, the driver, a 38-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, died at the scene as a result of the incident.
A 44-year-old passenger in the Kia, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to hospital.
