Already on the night from Saturday to Sunday, we will switch to winter time, which means that at 3:00 we will move the hands of our clocks back to 2:00. (Computers and phones should adjust themselves).

In other words, this night we will sleep—for at least theoretically—an hour longer. This is especially good news for those who like to catch up on all their sleep on weekends.

As Wirtualna Polska reports:

An EU directive standardized the timing of time changes. According to its provisions, we move the clocks forward by one hour on the last Sunday of March and back by one hour on the last Sunday of October.

The website adds:

Recently, there was widespread discussion about the European Parliament’s decision to abolish the time change. The end of switching between summer and winter time was supposed to come in March 2021. For now, the proposal has been frozen, and most EU countries are reluctant to adopt the proposed change.
