Criminal investigators from Zgorzelec, working together with police officers from Zawidów in an operation targeting drug-related crime, detained a 30-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County who was suspected of possessing a significant quantity of narcotic substances.
The officers’ suspicions were confirmed. The man was detained, and the drugs—over 1,100 doses of methamphetamine and marijuana—were seized.

The 30-year-old was taken to the Zgorzelec police station, where he was charged.
The man is a repeat offender and has previously been convicted of drug-related crimes. He now faces up to 4.5 years in prison.
