On Friday, the trial begins of the priest accused of pedophilia, Piotr M., formerly parish priest in Ruszów (Zgorzelec County). As reported by Gazeta Wrocławska:
According to the prosecutor’s office, the clergyman sexually abused two girls with moderate intellectual disabilities.
Let us recall. M. served as a priest from 1978 to 2019 in:
- Wrocław
- Jędrzychowice
- Niedźwiedzice
- Ruszów.
Several months ago, we reported that on Thursday, May 23, at around 4 p.m., three police cars arrived at the parish house in Ruszów (Węgliniec Municipality, Zgorzelec County). As the zgorzelec.info service wrote, “after a while, a priest emerged under police escort and drove away in one of the cars.”
The whole matter was reportedly connected with the storm that the Sekielski brothers’ film caused—for a short time—and with comments both beneath the aforementioned film and on a local forum. (Details on the website of the Zgorzelec portal.)
