The incident occurred on Friday, October 18, after 8:00 a.m., on Jeleniogórska Street in the City of Ceramics. The driver of a Renault, a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to exercise due caution and collided with the rear of a Mitsubishi driven by a 40-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. He had stopped before the pedestrian crossing to let pedestrians pass.
Two people were injured: the Mitsubishi driver and the Renault passenger. Both were taken to hospital. Fortunately, neither suffered anything more serious.
