The incident took place on Wednesday, October 16, at approximately 3:15 p.m., on Wyszyńskiego Street in Lubin. According to the officers’ preliminary findings, a 45-year-old resident of Lubin driving an Opel passenger car failed to yield to a 43-year-old woman who was on the pedestrian crossing.
The pedestrian was injured and taken to hospital.
Lubin traffic police officers confiscated the Opel driver’s license. What is more, the 45-year-old woman will also face court proceedings.
