The incident occurred on October 14, several minutes after midnight, in Mysłakowice. On Łąkowa Street, police officers noticed a man riding a scooter. The two-wheeler was being driven without lights, without a protective helmet and… without a registration plate.

As if that were not enough, on a straight stretch of road, the 20-year-old resident of Kowary collided with a police car in motion. Fortunately, no one suffered any more serious injuries.

It turned out that the scooter ridden by the suspect was not registered. What is more, the driver himself was wanted; he had nearly three years of imprisonment to serve for property-related offences.

Moreover, the two-wheeler driver had methamphetamine on him. And—as he admitted himself—he got on the scooter after taking it. (Blood was collected from the 20-year-old for testing.)

The man was taken into police custody. He now faces an additional sentence of up to three years in prison.
