Police officers from Kruszyn, as a result of operational activities, identified and detained three men suspected of committing five burglaries. All of these crimes took place in the Bolesławiec municipality (including in Otok—about which a Reader informed us) between 28 September and 10 October.
The detainees are residents of Bolesławiec County. Two of them—a 31-year-old and a 28-year-old—are credited with five burglaries. Another 28-year-old helped them with one of the break-ins; he was also detained and, in addition to the burglary, will answer for handling stolen goods.
At the home of the oldest suspect, officers found a large number of items originating from the aforementioned burglaries, including antlers, which have great sentimental value for hunters, as well as power tools, a gas cylinder and… builders’ clothing.
All three detainees now face up to 10 years in prison. The recovered property will be returned to its owners.
