Bolesławiec criminal investigators determined that a 42-year-old resident of the City of Ceramics might possess drugs. When the man opened the door, officers detected the characteristic smell of marijuana.

But the 42-year-old insisted that he did not have any drugs.

During a search of the man’s home, officers found a plastic bag containing more than 2,000 portions of dried material. (The bag was hidden in the bedding).

The suspect explained to police officers that he had found cannabis plants in the forest. He cut them down and then dried them for his own use.

The Bolesławiec resident was detained. He could now face up to three years in prison. KPP:

As it turns out, in autumn the Bolesławiec forests offer not only mushrooms, but also other valuable plants.
