What is mediation?
Mediation – a method of resolving disputes in which a third party helps the parties communicate with each other, identify interests and issues for discussion, and reach a mutually acceptable consensus. This process is voluntary, confidential and informal.
A mediator will help you in mediation
A mediator is a person who facilitates communication between the parties and helps mediation participants develop a solution satisfactory to both sides. A mediator is neither a judge nor an arbitrator – their role is not to decide the dispute that has arisen between the parties. They must remain neutral and impartial.
