Three couples from Bolesławiec Municipality celebrated their golden anniversaries: Michalina and Józef Przystarzowie, Leokadia and Eugeniusz Gałęzowie and Genowefa and Ludwik Biegaczowie. The jubilarian couples received Medals for Long Marital Life, awarded by President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.
The golden anniversary couples were accompanied by their closest family members at the ceremony. The jubilarian couples were also congratulated by mayor Andrzej Dutkowski and Chair of the Municipal Council Bogusław Uziej.
There was also a resounding rendition of “Sto lat,” performed by representatives of the Municipal Office, councilors and village heads.
