During an exceptional event held on 8 April at the Civil Registry Office in Nowogrodziec, Medals for Long Marital Life were presented—decorations awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. This special distinction is given to couples who can celebrate 50 years of married life together.
The Golden Anniversaries were celebrated by:
- Zofia i Ludwik Gałkowie
- Rozalia i Henryk Zajączkowscy.
The decoration ceremony, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, was conducted by the mayor of Nowogrodziec, Joanna Świder. The ceremony was co-hosted by the head of the Civil Registry Office, Eugeniusz Pańków.
The honorees received not only medals, but also warm congratulations and appreciation for building lasting family values and providing a beautiful testament to love. It was emphasized that their long-lasting relationships are an inspiration to younger generations.
After the official part, the gathering took on a more intimate tone. There was no shortage of memories, emotion and friendly conversations. It was a time for reflection on the years they had spent together, as well as joy in being together.
At the end of the ceremony, the honorees were offered heartfelt wishes for many more years in good health and peace, filled with abiding joy among their loved ones.
