They celebrated half a century together: Wiesława and Józef Bodzioch, Ewa and Mieczysław Czechowscy, Halina and Zbigniew Seneszyn and Janina and Jerzy Tomczakowie.
During the ceremony, the Jubilarians were honored with certificates and Medals for Long Marital Life—distinctions awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland to couples whose life together sets an example of the lasting nature of marriage and attachment to family values. The decorations were presented by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman, who offered the Jubilarians his warm congratulations and wishes for many more years spent in health, happiness and mutual love.

The solemn atmosphere of the event was enhanced by a concert by the Klaver ensemble from the Youth Cultural Centre, whose performance was a beautiful musical highlight of the Golden Anniversary celebrations.
