The incident occurred on Monday, 30 September, after 2:00 p.m., in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality). The driver of the BMW, a 20-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, lost control of the vehicle, crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with another BMW.
The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were injured and taken to hospital. (Fortunately, however, they did not suffer anything serious. The incident was classified as a collision.)
The 20-year-old's car bounced off and also hit a Mercedes driven by a 37-year-old from the City of Ceramics. Both drivers emerged from the entire incident unscathed.
According to the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, the 20-year-old driver's licence was seized.
