Officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters stopped a vehicle carrying five people. It turned out that three of the passengers were criminals well known to the police.

What is more, during the inspection of the car, it turned out that its trunk contained various items originating from thefts and burglaries.

Furthermore, the 22-year-old woman had narcotics on her, while the driver... was under their influence.

Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters:

During their work, police officers established that the radio installed in the inspected car had been stolen during a vehicle break-in in Bolesławiec.

The trunk contained a wall chaser, a water meter and pipes that had come from a burglary at a house undergoing renovation.

The officers also recovered a bicycle, which had likewise been stolen during the aforementioned burglary, but the cautious thieves had “hidden” it by locking the bicycle to a railing outside one of the shops in Bolesławiec.

The 24-year-old driver will now face charges of driving under the influence of narcotics. He faces up to two years in prison.

The 22-year-old woman from Bolesławiec was charged with possession of narcotics and began serving a six-month prison sentence for previously violating a court-imposed driving ban.

The two other detainees, residents of Bolesławiec County aged 23 and 24, were charged with burglary. They could be imprisoned for up to 10 years.

Additionally, the 24-year-old [jeden z tych podejrzanych o włamania, nie kierowca – przyp. istotne.pl] began serving at least six months in prison for fraud. His stay in prison may be extended considerably, as he is suspected of a series of property crimes.
