Yesterday’s violent winds affected residents throughout the county. Volunteer firefighters from Gromadka intervened, among other places, on the Gromadka–Modła road, where the wind brought down a tree.
Meanwhile, the firefighters from OSP Nowogrodziec – Osiedle were dispatched to a tree that had fallen onto the tracks of railway line no. 283 Zebrzydowa–Nowogrodziec–Lwówek Śl.
The tree blocked the passage of a freight train. Using chainsaws, the uniformed officers cut it into pieces on site and cleared the route.
Meanwhile, volunteer firefighters from Trzebień intervened in Trzebień, Stara Oleszna, Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka and Parkoszów.
