Zagłębie Lubin fans gathered in Bolesławiec Market Square on Saturday, 21 September. This was ahead of an important match against Śląsk Wrocław. They showed their support for Miedziowi. They did so in a rather unusual way: they stood on the town hall steps and, using smoke flares, chanted, among other things, “Zagłębie Lubin” and “F*** the whores from Oporowska,” after which they walked with lit flares towards Asnyka Street.

We received a video of the fans near the Town Hall in the editorial office’s inbox.

The Bolesławiec police are investigating the fans’ display. Officers are determining whether the law was broken.

Is it permissible to use smoke flares, flares, firecrackers and profanity in the city centre? At this point, it is worth recalling the case of Jurek Owsiak, who faced court proceedings for using profanity in public at a festival in Kostrzyn nad Odrą.
