On Sunday morning, at Bolesławiec Market Square, residents could exchange electronic waste, waste paper or plastics for tree and garden shrub seedlings. A total of 200 seedlings were distributed, which Bolesławiec residents will plant in their gardens within the city.
It was also possible to register one’s bicycle, protecting it against theft. To do so, residents had to report to the Municipal Police with proof of purchase for the bicycle or an identity document. Cyclists could also receive bicycle maintenance advice at the “bicycle garden”.
The campaign was organised as part of European Mobility Week celebrations and was financed from the budget of the city of Bolesławiec.
