The arrest took place on September 17, at around 5:00 p.m., in Lubin. Police officers patrolling the city noticed a 26-year-old resident of Lubin municipality driving a Mercedes passenger car. (The driver was already well known to the officers from previous interventions.)

As it turned out, the 26-year-old was subject to a court-imposed ban on driving motor vehicles. What is more, the driver was behaving strangely, so he was tested with a drug screening device. It then emerged that he had been driving the Mercedes under the influence of intoxicating substances.

Moreover, officers found white crystals in the suspect’s wallet. As it turned out, they were methamphetamine.

The irresponsible man was arrested and taken to a police cell. He now faces up to five years in prison.
