Police officers from Bolesławiec and Kruszyn arrested a man who helped steal vehicles. The crimes took place in June and August in Germany.

As a result of operational activities, officers established that a man who was driving a stolen vehicle was staying in our county. KPP Bolesławiec:

This situation occurred twice. The first arrest of the 24-year-old resident of Legnica County took place in June, while the second occurred in September.

The police add:

In both cases, the suspect will be held responsible for aiding and abetting burglaries by transporting the stolen vehicles.

In addition, the man faced charges including breaching a court-ordered driving ban, which was in force until 2021, and failing to stop for a roadside check.

The officers recovered two vehicles stolen in Germany, worth more than PLN 160,000.

The court remanded the 24-year-old in temporary custody for three months. The resident of Legnica County now faces up to 10 years in prison.
