Police officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police, operating as part of the Lower Silesian SPEED group, stopped three road pirates and confiscated their driving licences. The first to lose his licence was a 56-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality.
An hour later, another driver disregarded the speed limit. The 31-year-old from Bolesławiec lost his driving licence after speeding along national road 94 in Godziszów.
The third vehicle travelling at excessive speed was stopped in Suszki. There, a 63-year-old resident of the Greater Poland Voivodeship had his driving licence confiscated.
The officers:
Drivers who disregard road traffic regulations must reckon with the consequences of speeding. In this case, all of them lost their driving licences for 3 months and were fined and given penalty points.
They add:
We remind you that driving at high speed always poses a danger both to the people travelling in the speeding vehicle and to other road users.
Speed is, after all, a key factor affecting the risk of road accidents; it also has a decisive impact on the type and severity of injuries suffered by those involved in road incidents.
