The Lower Silesian police garrison has welcomed more officers into its ranks this year. On September 5, 55 police officers, including 14 women, recited the oath. (Two of them will serve in Bolesławiec.)
The oath certificates were presented to the newly admitted officers by the Provincial Police Commander in Wrocław, Inspector General Tomasz Trawiński.
Since the beginning of 2019, 222 officers have already joined the ranks of the Lower Silesian Police, and another recruitment drive is planned for November 7.
KWP:
Service in the Police is an attractive and interesting career that offers opportunities for continuous development, learning and pursuing one's interests. The Police is a modern institution adapting to economic, social and civilizational changes.
Serving in various organizational units of the Police, officers work with the latest technologies and equipment. The Lower Silesian Police also cooperates with corresponding institutions throughout Europe, while Polish police officers participate in peacekeeping missions.
As reality changes, officers face new challenges, which they can take on thanks to numerous training programs and opportunities to develop their skills. Above all, however, service in the Police means working for the safety of others and helping the vulnerable and injured, which is a source of great satisfaction.
