Dominik’s case was described accurately and reliably on our portal from 2017 onward in numerous articles, including this one: Did Dominik Deserve Life Imprisonment?. We do not hide the fact that this case was also close to us, in the human sense. We believed in Dominik and understood what had really happened in this young man’s life and what had led to the tragedy. Today, we also join in the thanks, especially to the multitude of people—our readers—who took the trouble to support Dominik in our pages.
Dominik is still afraid to appear in public, which is why we blurred his face.
I wanted to thank everyone who made it possible for me to be a free man. I thank everyone who joined in signing the petitions in my defense. I thank my defense lawyers for representing me free of charge. I thank Mr. Wojciech Kasprzyk for being by my side the entire time and supporting me with legal matters. I thank Ms. Małgorzata Gruszecka for encouraging me and handling my case all the way to the end, believing it would succeed. I also thank my therapist, Mr. Dawid Kołodziej, for being by my side throughout and helping me see the world in different colors, meet new people, and for organizing the petition drive. I thank editor Grażyna Hanaf for keeping my spirits up, always reporting on what was happening, and supporting the petition campaign. I thank my grandfather and grandmother for being with me the entire time and supporting me to the end in the best way they could. I thank the court for a fair verdict and for understanding what happened.
