The incident occurred during the night of 13–14 August in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality). A reader wrote to us in an SMS:
I am sending a photo and informing you that in Tomaszów a car is burning—or rather, has already burned—the car you wrote about a few days earlier (the report about the drunk 25-year-old). Someone must have set it on fire sometime between 11 p.m. and midnight, because I drove past there at around 11 p.m. and it was still standing on its wheels.
He added:
The police and one fire service unit were at the scene. The stubble field [...] also caught fire, but the flames did not spread very far across it.
The vehicle burned down completely. Fortunately, no one was injured.
As the police informed us, there is no evidence indicating that arson occurred.
