The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 6, at around 10:00 p.m., in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki (Warta Bolesławiecka commune). The driver of a Fiat, a 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road and ended up in a ditch.
As it turned out, the man was completely drunk; he had a blood alcohol level of 2 per mille.
The man was detained. He now faces up to two years in prison.
