To be sure that we have the latest and best knowledge in the field of first aid, it is worth completing a KPP course, that is, a qualified first aid course. It consists of 41 hours of intensive theoretical and practical classes. Simulated rescue operations during the KPP course are a great way to practise theoretical skills. The knowledge is provided by a qualified team of doctors, rescuers and psychologists – specialists with the greatest experience in medical rescue services in Poland. You can be sure that you will gain the necessary knowledge during KPP training from the best.
What Will You Learn on a KPP Course?
During several dozen hours of learning, topics such as the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory, circulatory, nervous and skeletal systems will be covered. In addition, course participants will gain the knowledge needed to assess whether an injured person is conscious and what condition they are in. They will learn, both theoretically and practically, what the recovery position and the anti-shock position are. Naturally, the course will also include exercises in artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The course provides knowledge of, among other things, how to deal with injured people in the most common types of accidents, such as road accidents. Course graduates know how to remove accident victims from wrecked vehicles, secure the scene and coordinate the actions of other witnesses in order to ensure the safety of themselves, the witnesses and the injured. They are also able to identify types of fractures and know how to dress wounds and injuries.
Psychological support for injured people is also very important for successfully saving their health and lives. That is why, during our course, participants learn how to talk to injured people, what information to give them and how to do so.
The schedule also includes knowledge of the legal foundations of the organization of emergency medical services. The topics of equipment disinfection and the operation of an automated defibrillator are also covered, including the principles of semi-automatic and automatic defibrillation of an injured person.
Who Is a First Aid Course For?
The answer is simple: everyone. As we mentioned at the very beginning, each of us encounters situations that may require knowledge of pre-medical rescue. Such a course not only provides the appropriate knowledge in a theoretical and practical way, but also helps participants obtain the title of “Rescuer,” which may be useful, for example, when seeking their dream job. The Labour Code states that every workplace must have at least one person who has completed a KPP course. It may turn out that passing the exam successfully will become your gateway to further career development.
Regardless of why we need a certificate confirming completion of the course, it is important to remember that helping an injured person can save their health or even their life. Let us not be afraid to do it! There is a superhero within each of us; we just need to take the first step.
