The incident took place on Monday, July 1, at around 11:00 p.m. in Tomisław (Osiecznica commune). Firefighters received a report of a barn fire; another farm building was attached to it. A residential building stood right next to it, which is why as many as 10 uniformed units were dispatched.
The operation lasted until around 2:00 a.m. The property owner felt unwell—probably due to stress. An emergency medical team was called. Fortunately, it turned out that the woman had not suffered anything more serious. (She was not taken to hospital).
Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Parowa took part in the operation (two units each), as did volunteers from Zebrzydowa, Brzeźnik, Trzebień, Osiecznica, Nowogrodziec and Ławszowa.
