The incident occurred during the night of 1–2 July, at around 12:30 a.m., at the 51st kilometre of the A18 road (past Świętoszów). A BMW car caught fire; the vehicle’s engine compartment was engulfed in flames.
The driver left the vehicle on his own. He was unharmed. Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
