The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 25, on Wybickiego Street in Bolesławiec, where an alcohol-fueled party was taking place. During the drinking session, an argument broke out and a 53-year-old woman from Bolesławiec attacked her 49-year-old friend with a knife.
The injured woman was taken to hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
The perpetrator, who had been in prison for an offense against life and health (she was released in May this year), was detained and charged. (At the time of her arrest, the suspect was completely drunk; her blood alcohol level was over 2‰).
Moreover, at the prosecutor’s office’s request, the court ordered the woman’s temporary detention for three months.
The woman who wielded the knife could face life imprisonment.
