Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, as a result of numerous activities carried out to identify those responsible for break-ins at allotment huts, arrested two men. Both are residents of Bolesławiec, aged 23 and 25.

Since the beginning of May this year, the arrested men had been acting together, breaking into at least 14 allotment huts in Bolesławiec’s Family Allotment Gardens. The criminals stole everything they could get their hands on. The thieves made off with, among other things, grinders, gas cylinders, hammers and keys. The officers established where the suspects were storing the stolen property.

Both suspects are well known to the police, as they have committed other property-related offences.

The perpetrators were charged and face up to 10 years in prison. Officers are determining whether the suspects committed other offences of this kind in Bolesławiec.
