Bolesławiec is a city that cooperates very actively on joint Polish-Czech projects within the framework of the Nysa Euroregion. This time, the project “Under One Roof – a Polish-Czech Musical Meeting” is an idea for an artistic event unlike anything previously held in Bolesławiec. On Saturday, 29 June, a unique musical meeting of six bands will take place on two specially erected stages facing each other (Poland: DBL 59-700, Świnka Halinka and TULIA / Czech Republic: OLD STARS Dixieland, Nasycen and Volupsje).
The bands will play alternately, entering into a musical dialogue with one another. You will discover the results on Saturday, 29 June, at Piłsudski Square in Bolesławiec.
Last weekend, a delegation from Bolesławiec visited its partner, the city of Liberec, to promote the project and actively participated in the city’s festival: the Liberec Medieval Fair. The promotional stand of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre encouraged visitors not only to visit the city during the project activities planned for 29 June, but also presented other cultural and tourist attractions of our city, including an invitation to the Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival.
