Ceramic Chaise Longue in Bolesławiec Market Square

Ceramic chaise longue, that is, a type of sofa shaped like an elongated armchair, whose characteristic feature is a headrest enabling comfortable rest, was placed in the market square in Bolesławiec.

Sources say that the first chaise longues were created as early as the 17th century and were characterized by ornate, usually quilted upholstery. In Bolesławiec, the chaise longue is unique because it is ceramic.
