The incident occurred on Saturday, June 8, in the evening, in Zebrzydowa (Nowogrodziec municipality).
Officers determined that a 47-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County stepped onto the road directly in front of an approaching Nissan, driven by a 46-year-old man from Lubań County.
The pedestrian, who was drunk (he had 3.2‰ of alcohol in his system), was injured and taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
The Nissan driver was sober and was not injured.
