At the end of May, a ceremony to present a banner to the local Volunteer Fire Service took place in Różyniec (Gromadka Municipality). The ceremony began with a Holy Mass celebrated by the parish priest, Jan Trznadel.
The ceremony continued in the square by the village community centre. The host was the municipal OSP commander and, at the same time, the village head of Różyniec, Piotr Kinaj.
Distinguished guests attended the event, including Brigadier General Ryszard Dąbrowa and the Bolesławiec District State Fire Service commander, Junior Brigadier Andrzej Śliwowski.
The ceremony was an opportunity to present decorations to both active firefighters from Gromadka Municipality and senior firefighters (among those decorated were firefighters Sawka and Piechocki).
