Last Saturday (23 May), young athletes competed in the Junior League in Słubice. MKS Bolesłavia athletes scored 2781 points, setting a new club record. Our athletes finished ahead of competitors from, among others, Zgorzelec, Szczecin, Poznań and Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The athletics league is a sporting competition organized by the Polish Athletics Association since 1957. League competitions take place every year in two rounds (the first in spring, the second in autumn). The club with the highest total points wins. Currently, clubs compete in the first and second leagues and the junior league. The winner of the first athletics league receives the title of Polish Team Champion. The team score includes the 25 best results in total, including relays, scored according to PZLA tables. An athlete may compete in one individual event and one relay, or only in two relays.
